About Me

I am the Writer on the Verge, generally known as WotV. I put words in the correct order with appropriate punctuation in a way that seems pleasing or at least agreeable. I love the Oxford comma, regardless of what the AP Stylebook says.

I like psychological suspense novels, horror movies, macarons, and Margaret Atwood.

I dislike predictable stories, tomatoes, the color yellow, and the way LOST ended.

In the past several years, I’ve worked as a psychiatric nurse, teaching assistant, PTA President, volunteer, family book club creator, team leader, dental writer, and SEO writer. To sum it up: I wasn’t afraid; I tried new things and if I didn’t know how, I learned; I spoke my mind; I helped; I did my best. I still do all of these things in whatever tiara I am wearing, whether editor, writer, or mother. My dream is to publish my own novel.

I have written wildly diverse content. Examples? A monthly online magazine about sharks, descriptions and personalities for a mannequin catalog, a paper about LOST for an educational institution, reading comprehension educational content, and a story about bunions (don’t ask).

If this was an extended bio, I would tell you about teaching my cat to jump through a rolling hula hoop when I was 5.
